AKI TSUKAMOTO

Aki Tsukamoto received his BFA (2011) and MFA (2014) from Musashino Art University. As a highly skilled painter, Aki primarily works with oil on canvas and playfully incorporates various pop culture characters and references into his artwork, often juxtaposing them with 20th century masterpieces. He has lived and worked in the US for couple of years and has showcased his works at numerous galleries and art fairs globally, including SAI Miyashita and Nadiff Gallery in Tokyo, where he is currently based.
