Aki Tsukamoto's profound exploration of classical painting techniques imbues his work with an exceptionally distinctive array of methods. His primary medium is oil painting, and he skillfully blends elements of cubism and dadaism, complemented by a generous dose of pop culture references. One notable aspect of his style is the juxtaposition of these influences with iconic masterpieces from the 20th century.

Aki Tsukamoto is a graduate of Musashino Art University, having earned his BFA in 2011 and his MFA in 2014. While he currently resides in Tokyo, he has spent a significant amount of time in the United States assisting prominent painters, further enriching his artistic perspective. His artworks have been showcased in renowned galleries and art fairs globally, including SAI Miyashita and Nadiff Gallery Tokyo, JP.
