Susan Andelman finds elegance in the most humble materials and she transforms them into distinctive paper collages. Her work also explores repetition and subtle geometry. She arranges ordinary envelopes into carefully ordered grids. Susan’s close attention to detail and her extraordinary sense of color and shape elevate the simplest themes into sophisticated, refined works of art. The Cubists have long appealed to her sensibilities.
A native New Yorker, Susan Andelman studied with Bruce Dorfman at the Art Students League of New York.
